6 tips to improve gut health, sleep, and energy

Professor Satchin Panda is an authority on time-restricted feeding. His research paper triggered an international health phenomenon we know as intermittent fasting. These are his top 6 tips to massively improve your gut health, sleep and energy.

You may notice that timing, quite literally, is everything!

  • Consistent bedtime, stay in bed for 8 hours to ensure 7 hours of sleep

  • Wait an hour after waking up before you eat or drink any calories

  • Consistent breakfast time. Then eat for the next 8 to maximum 12 hours

  • Spend 30 Mins outdoors in daylight, yes even on cloudy days

  • Get in some physical activity, afternoons are great for the same

  • 2-3 hours before bedtime no food and no bright light

To get more insight into intermittent fasting, we highly recommend listening to his conversation on the Feel Better Live More podcast with Dr. Rangan Chatterjee.
